Gina Giordano
“My Time”

Hailing from the streets of Brooklyn, NY and now calling East Stroudsburg, PA her home, Gina Giordano has persevered through some dire family issues the past 5 years that was the impetus that drove her to write this track. She dedicates it to her mother who was the strength of her family while her father suffered and died from his cancer, a mother-in-law she took care of and a sister, brother and brother-in-law that she also lost. In spite of her mother not also doing well due to COPD, she carried on and keep going despite her obstacles.

This motivated Gina in a big way to write the lyrics and basic chords that her husband, guitarist, Ritchie Serrano, put to music. This was just the first part of the making of this single. It was then presented to Andrew Chervak of Midnight Studios in Phillipsburg, NJ for his recording mastery and then sent off to Earl Cohen to be mastered.

Her influences include the likes of Carrie Underwood, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Miranda Lambert, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride and Faith Hill. That my friends is one hell of a roster of Country Greats!

She is backed by some creative, talented musicians that include Richie Serrano on rhythm guitar, Steve Bingaman on lead guitar and Andrew Chervak on drums and bass, who all come together seamlessly on this single. Gina's powerful ranging pipes give you the feeling of listening to a polished veteran.

The single tells that awesome story that just moves the listener. The tight instrumentation is of the Country-Rock flavor that is so evident today. Gina's ability to change octaves and project power hits one from start to finish that will satisfy even the pickiest Country-Rock listener. Steve's powerful solo and the changes and breakdowns in Todd's percussion are very refreshing and add so much to this song.

I can see this breaking into Country formats with the proper backing and promotion. The production is spot on and the lyrical material will hit home and draw a tear to one's eye. I would give this a MUST LISTEN! On the Nor'easter Storm Scale, I give this a FORCE 3! Well Done!
